Sustainability

Real actions, measured outcomes, transparent reporting.

Measured, not marketed.

BPS operates a net-zero plan and supports clients in meeting their own ESG objectives — with data, not declarations. Waste is tracked at stream level and reported monthly; independent annual audits set defensible recycling and CO₂ targets calibrated to each building.

On the floor, we use biodegradable products from the Agar environmentally responsible range and detergent-free scrubbing technology that electrically converts water into an effective cleaning solution — cutting chemical use and cost on daily hard-floor cleaning. Every contract commences with brand-new, energy-efficient equipment.

Indigenous supply chain

BPS sources cleaning chemicals and equipment from Wirrpanda, an Indigenous-owned, Supply Nation registered supplier — a deliberate procurement choice contributing to Indigenous economic participation through our day-to-day operations, not a side program.

The community benefits from our work.

BPS holds a partnership agreement with the Kids Cancer Project, providing monthly financial support. The Barker family has sponsored children through World Vision for twenty years.

We sponsor the Shepparton Rugby Club and fund programs that support Indigenous and Pacific Islander community participation, including sponsoring young people from regional communities to train and compete in Melbourne and at national carnivals. BPS is also a proud sponsor of Rolling Strong, a personal training, mental health and rehabilitation service for people who have sustained spinal injuries.
